Harinishanth was passionate about cricket since his childhood. He is a Left Arm Batsman and a Right Arm Off Break Bowler. He made his first-class debut for Tamilnadu in 2019–20 Ranji Trophy Season. Hari is an opening Batsman and has been opening for Tamilnadu in various formats for the game.
Chezhian was bought by Chennai Superkings in IPL 2021 Auction in February 2021. CSK bought Hari for the base price of INR 20 Lac.
