Synopsis:-

Dasvi is a Netflix 2022 Indian Comedy Drama movie. It will be released on 7 April. Dasvi star cast consists of stars like  Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam, and Nimrat Kaur in prominent roles.

Dasvi is directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Maddock Films in collaboration with Jio Studios and has been written by Ritesh Shah.

This movie belongs to the leagues of “Hindi Medium(2017)” and “Mimi(2021)“.

Dasvi has finally got an OTT release on 7 April and can be watched on the OTT platform Netflix and Jio cinema if you own its subscription.

Best things from the Trailer of Dasvi:

1. The plot of the movie looks quite plain but evokes laughter.
2. The colors of the movie look quite vibrant and pleasing to the eye.
3. Dialogue and one-liners are quite good.
4. Music looks quite soothing as per the lines of early Maddock Films.
5. After a long wait, Netflix has come up with some content for the Indian Audience suitable to family audience humor.

The worst thing(s) about the Dasvi trailer:

1. The movie doesn’t come up with much hype but Netflix will take care of that thing.

Plot:-

The plot of Dasvi revolves around  Ganga Ram Chaudhary, a politician being put behind bars following his involvement in a scam and he has done his education till 8th class only. Nimrat Kaur plays the role of Bimla Devi, Chaudhary’s wife who has now taken over his chief minister seat while he is in jail whereas she is illiterate, and Yami Gautam is a hard taskmaster  IPS officer Jyoti Deswal who gives Chaudhary a tough time in the jail.

The plot revolves around the political life of Chaudhary and his wife Bimla, his time in jail, and circumstances that motivate him to complete his 10th standard schooling. The trailer also shows his struggle of getting back to books, math, and language classes in jail to pass the crucial exam.

As per the social media post of Abhishek Bachchan, he is quite excited to share Dasvi with all of us and this movie is very close to his heart. He really believes in this film and the message it conveys. He further added that making a film that is entertaining and leaves everyone with a thought or something to think about gives a lot of joy to him.

Dasvi movie will be finally released on 7 April 2021. The film will also be dubbed and released in various languages too.
