Gaby Lewis Wiki Biography: Gaby Hollis Lewis commonly known as Gaby Lewis is an Irish Cricketer who plays and currently captains the Women’s Super-Series Team Scorchers in Ireland Domestic Cricket. She was born in Dublin, Ireland.

Lewis was passionate about cricket since her childhood and made her international debut at just an age of 13 which made her the youngest T20I player. She is a Right-Hand Batsman and she bowls Right-arm leg break. She plays for Scorchers in Ireland Domestic Cricket.

Her sister Robyn Lewis is also an international cricketer. Besides Gaby’s sister, her father and grandfather were also the cricketers and represented Irish men’s cricket team.

Career

• She first came into spotlight when she was named in Cricket Ireland’s Emerging Players Squad in November 2013.
• Then one year later Gaby played her first match against Netherlands at the 2014 European Championship.
• Later that year she was selected Ireland’s squad in September 2014 for a three-match T20I series against South Africa.
• Gaby made her T20I debut against South Africa in 2014 and subsequently became the youngest cricketer to play an international match. She was just 13 Years and 166 days old when she played her first T20I match.
• On her debut, Gaby also became the first international cricketer born in the 21st century.
• Lewis also represented Ireland in the 2015 World Twenty20 Qualifier played in Thailand.
• She has also played in the 2016 World Twenty20 which held in India.
• She was also named in Ireland’s squad in June 2018 for the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament held in 2018.
• Then in 2019, Gaby was named in the ICC Women’s Global Development Squad.
• She was also the part of Ireland’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20.
