Synopsis:-
Jagame Thandhiram is a much awaited 2021 Indian Tamil movie. It will be releasing on 18th June. The film stars Dhanush, Aishwarya Lekshmi and James Cosmo. Director and writer of Jagame Thandhiram is Karthik Subbaraj.
This series belongs to the leagues of “Nobody” and “Petta”.
Jagame Thandhiram has finally got an OTT release on 18th July, 2021. It can be watched on Netflix video streaming platform if you own its subscription.

Best things from Trailer:
- Action sequences are going to be the highlight of the movie.
- Dhanush as Gangster “Suruli” looks funny, dangerous and menacing.
- Colors of the movie look beautiful.
- Background music looks dark.

Worst things about trailer:
1)Story doesn’t look like a unique one: As we all know South Indian cinema is well Known for its original storylines but to be fair this time, the trailer doesn’t give the original feel
2)No Rakita Rakita BGM this time: Highlight of the teaser was the foot tapping BGM “Rakita Rakita” but while watching Trailer, we missed it badly.
3)Can’t wait till 18th June: I was bit confused that I should write it in demerit or merit. Well as a Dhanush fan, I can’t wait till 18th June.
Plot:-
Jagame Thandhiram is a Gangster action thriller movie. It is a story of a Tamil Gangster Suruli creating havoc on the streets of London.
This movie shows a bit of immigration politics happening in the United Kingdom and James Cosmo’s character is a gang leader who is responsible for gang wars happening on the streets of London with a Srilankan Don .

Jagame Thandhiram full movie can be watched online on Netflix from 18 June onwards.

Review
Reasons to watch this movie
- Out and out Dhanush show.
- Rakita Rakita sequence was crazy.
- Action sequences and their picturization was the real show stealer.
- Cinematography is beautiful, colorful and captures London beautifully.
- Light hearted moments were really funny.
Reasons to avoid this movie
- Movie’s editing is not up the mark. Movie time could have been shortened by atleast 15 minutes.
- Movie lacks other characters which can continually balances out Surili’s energy, James Cosmo gets few scenes to show his class of acting.
- 2nd half is very mediocre and predictable.
- Biggest disappointment is that this movie was hyped as “Biggest Indian movie release” on NETFLIX this year and but reality is it doesn’t match upto that level.
Whether to watch it or not:
Go for it but please don’t see just because of hype,you will be disappointed.
Rating : Perfect one time watch.

Jagame Thandhiram is scheduled to be released on 18 June 2021 on Netflix along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
