Sex Education Season 3 Trailer
Netflix released a teaser trailer that introduced us to a new headmistress Miss Hope Haddon, who is introducing a “new uniform” and a “new attitude” to bring excellence to Moordale Students.
The theme of the trailer is like an advert for Moordale, along with various familiar faces praise enthusiastically the virtues of their school.
The wait for the official trailer for season three is over as Netflix released the Sex Education Season 3 trailer on 7th September 2021.
You can also check out Groff’s little announcement for season three. Six new snaps were shared by the streamer on 16th August teasing the new season that including one of Adam and Eric holding hands as they walk through the woods. Check them out below:
Sex Education Season 3 Plot
Synopsis: “As a new session starts, our sex expert Otis Milburn is into some casual sex and his mother Jean Milburn is pregnant and has a baby on the way. Meanwhile, Eric and Adam are the new couples in school. Also, the new headteacher ‘Hope’ aka Jemima Kirke is looking to bring excellence back to Moordale. Aimee has now discovered feminism, Jackson has a crush, and finally, a lost voicemail that made us scratch our hairs. The new season brings a lot of drama so prepare for commitment animals, vulva cupcakes, and a lot more of Madam Groff.”
We saw that by the end of season two, Otis broke up with Ola after embarrassing her, Maeve, and even himself at a party. But on the same night after the party, he loses his virginity to one of the popular girls Ruby.
After making some deals and amends with his mother Jean, whom Otis fell out with before throwing a party, and also after chatting to his partially antagonize father, he realizes that he is in love with Maeve. After that, he goes and finds Maeve but he can’t meet her and then leaves a voicemail for her telling “It’s you,” he said. “It’s always been you. I love you.”
But season 2 ended in a bit controversial way as Maeve’s neighbor Isaac, who also has a crush on her, deletes the voice mail before she has a chance to listen.
We think season three will kick off with Otis thinking that Maeve has heard his voicemail and has decided to ignore it. He’s awkward enough we all know, but this is awkward x 100.
Butterfield has already revealed that when season three returns there will be a time jump.
Meanwhile, Maeve at the moment doesn’t have time for Otis as she is dealing with the drama in her life. Season two ended with her calling social services to report about her mother for using drugs again while she still looking after her half-sister. Maeve although apologized to her mum but they’re still not on speaking terms.

As we see that Moordale gets its new headmistress, and Groff has been booted out. As a result, we can also expect more drama to come towards us in few weeks.
Aimee was sexually assaulted by a guy on the bus and had finally spoken to the girls. We can also expect that storyline in the upcoming season too.
Also, fans can’t forget the newly became friends Jackson and Viv either. Jackson is now opening up and has only just started to talk about his mental health hence we can’t wait to see what is there in their characters next.
Jean Milburn is now pregnant with Jackob’s child, but in the previous season, he ended their relationship. Will he return in Season 3?
How many seasons of Sex Education Web Series will there be in total?
Nunn has already said she is looking to keep Sex Education get going even after season three. She further added that the decision is in Netflix’s hands.
Also, the show’s casting director Lauren Evans said that there were some hopes about the show continuing in the future.
Well on a practical basis, nothing lasts forever of course, and while Nunn does have an opinion on when to stop as she added that it doesn’t fit right when people are in their 30s and they’re still playing teenagers. As a result, she feels that teen shows should or maybe stop before university.
Although there is not any trailer released by Netflix at the moment but ending of season three has already been teased by costume designer Rosa Dias as it may lead to a big shake-up for a possible fourth season of this web series.
Well, it will be really interesting to see if the producers and writers do four, what they’re going to do. It’s massive.
