Ajay Mohan Bisht is commonly known as Yogi Adityanath but he got the name of “Yogi Adityanath” after his Diksha. His father’s name is Anand Singh Bisht and he was a forest ranger. Yogi’s father died of chronic illness in AIIMS, New Delhi on 20th April 2020. His mother’s name is Savitri Devi and she is a homemaker. Adityanath has four brothers and three sisters. Yogi’s eldest sister named Shashi runs a tea shop in Uttarakhand. She states that she is happy in the hills and does not want to relocate.
Yogi’s youngest brother named Shailendra Mohan is a Subedar in the Garhwal Scouts Unit. Shailendra is posted near India China Line of Actual Control
