Synopsis:-

Atrangi Re is an Indian Comedy Movie that will be released on 24 December 2021.

The movie features Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, and Sara Ali Khan in prominent roles. Atrangi Re will skip theatrical release and is directly premiering through Disney Plus Hotstar.

Atrangi Re movie is directed by Aanand L. Rai who also directed  “Tanu Weds Manu (2011)” and “Raanjhanaa (2013)” movies of the same league and is produced by T-Series.

It has finally got an OTT release on 24 December 2021 and can be streamed on Disney plus Hotstar video streaming platform if you own its subscription.

Atrangi Age Rating: U( Universal Rating) Anybody can watch the movie.

Atrangi Re Trailer was released on 24 November.

Best things from the Trailer:

• The Trailer of Atrangi Re looks good and stylish with quite vibrant colors.
• Shots of Akshay Kumar in the trailer are just on the next level altogether.
• Costume design and looks of the characters should be appreciated too.
• Acting of all the actors looks good and I don’t think we will face any problem on that front as there are veteran actors too.
• Movie release is quite near and will be released on 24th December.
• Dhanush’s dance moves are shown in a few scenes in the trailer, major dance sequence of Dhanush in Hindi cinema after Raanjhanaa.

Worst things about the Trailer:

• 1)Very little emphasis on side actors in the trailer.

Plot:-

Dhanush plays the role of Vishnu who is a Tamil groom who is being kidnapped and gets forcefully married to Rinku, an aggressive young woman. Both Rinku and Vishnu came to learn that they are not pleased with the union and then decide to part ways once they reach Delhi by train. Later Vishnu ultimately tumbles in love with Rinku, who too gets fond of him.

Real tension begins when Sajad(Akshay Kumar), a magician enters into the foray as Rinku and Sajad have been long-time lovers and now Rinku reveals that she is in love with both Sajad and Vishnu and doesn’t want to let go of either.

In director Anand L Rai’s words plotline could be summarised as “I strongly believe that you don’t find love, it finds you. The only thing you should learn is to be a little patient.”

You can stream the Atrangi Re series on the DisneyPlus Hotstar video streaming service from 24 December onwards.

The charges for a DisneyPlus Hotstar Vip subscription are  ₹399 for a year. This plan allows users to watch all content except English series and web series on the streaming app without any ads.

• Brilliant performances from the leading cast
• High on emotion and humor content.
• Beautiful cinematography of the movie(Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi have been captured beautifully).
• Nice comeback for Anand L Rai after the debacle of Zero(2018).
• Movie highlights the mental health issues.

Reasons to avoid this Movie:

• Editing in the second half is a bit tedious.
• Detailing is missing in some incidents of the movie.
• Dialogues are not that much impactful.

Whether to watch it or not: Yes a good watch for a TV audience and a one-time watchable flick for everyone.
