Synopsis:-

Dil Bekaraar is a 2021 Indian Comedy Web series that will be released on 26 November.

The series consists of actors Akshay Oberoi, Sahher Bambba, Anjali Anand, Raj Babbar, Padmini Kolhapure, Poonam Dhillon, and Sukhmani Sadana in prominent roles. Dil Bekaraar will skip theatrical release and is directly premiering through Disney Plus Hotstar on 12th November.

Dil Bekaraar (2021) series is based on Anuja Chauhan’s 2013 Bestselling book “Those Pricey Thakur Girls”. 

Dil Bekaraar series is directed by Habib Faisal and it is produced by Sono Films private Ltd.

This series belongs to the leagues of “Yeh Meri Family” and “Rajma Chawal “.

It has finally got an OTT release on 26 November 2021. Dil Bekqraar can be streamed on Disney plus Hotstar video streaming platform if you own its subscription.

Best things from the Trailer:

• Dil Bekaraar Trailer looks good and vintage stylish with quite vibrant colors.
• It is an 80s nostalgia-based content and this looks quite good from the looks of the Trailer and it is a very rare kind of content coming from OTT.
• Costume design and looks of the characters should be appreciated too.
• Acting of all the actors looks good and I don’t think we will face any problem on that front as there are veteran actors too.
• Series release is quite near and will be released on 26th November.
• It is based on a best seller novel so we should be hoping for good writing in the content.

Worst things about the Trailer:

• Hotstar will not promote this series and because of this, its reach will suffer.
• No dialogues do remain in the mind after watching the trailer.

Plot:-

Dil Bekaraar is a series based on a 1980s love story. Debjani plays the role of  Doordarshan presenter.

David is a newspaper journalist. The audience gets a glance of their delightful 80s romance, but their love life soon gets into a crisis when Debjani discovers David was the one who wrote a bad review about her in his newspaper

The exact Plotline will be updated after the release of the web series.

Reasons to watch this series:

1)Season 1 of Dil Bekaraar has perfect duration of episodes (30 minute each)and story has been divided beautifully in each episodes.

2) A good and breathing sit-com.

3) Political points has been made beautifully without acting like a piece of propaganda.

Reasons to avoid this series:

1)Production quality of the show hampers the 80s timeline of the movie.

2)Some characters had been dragged too much and were not of much significance.

Whether to watch it or not: Yes,it is binge worthy.
